How to Add Students to the Vista Gradebook

Vista Section Instructors can add students to the gradebook if they know the student's Vista ID. (Vista IDs are the same as SPSU email IDs.)

Add students to your section:

1. Click on the teach tab,
2. Click the gradebook button.
3. Click the Add Members button (near the bottom of the page).
4. Enter the student's Vista ID

Note: if the students email address is jgilliam@spsu.edu, then their Vista ID is: jgilliam

5. Click the checkbox labeled Student to assign that role.
6. and then click the Add button.
7. Finally, click the Save button.
