Academic Software Licenses

In order to accommodate the need for ongoing funding of collaborative, campus-wide and large impact software licenses, an account for Academic Software Licenses has been established. This will replaced the Ongoing Projects fund, and this fund will only includes Academic Software Licenses. Personnel and hardware maintenance are not included in this account. Software funded via the Academic Software Account will be high student impact, cross-school software licenses. Individual departmental licenses, or single school licenses will be funded through other sources. Inclusion of software on the Academic Software License Account will be done at the discretion of the VPAA and the CIO. The initial budget limit was set at $150,000 for the fall 2010 funding cycle. The budget will increase proportionally to increased technology fee revenues.

The current year's funding list is available on the Current Year Funding List webpage.
