Maker Faire

Maker Faire is the world's largest DIY event - it's a blend of Art, Technology, Craft, and Science, combined with family-fun, participation, workshops, robots, and do-it-yourself ethics. It is the brainchild of Maker magazine, though the event in Atlanta is technically a "Mini" Maker Faire since it is being put together by a community of organizers rather than Make Magazine.

The event is completely free to makers who want to show something and people who want to check it out.

Secondly, we're still in our Call to Makers, so we're actively recruiting anyone out there with projects involving open-source code, robots, DIY'ers, solder fiends, hobbyists and enthusiasts, fixer-uppers, food makers, home scientists, and everyone in between and outside.

If you DIY we want you involved!
