GACE Basic Skills Assessments

The GACE Basic Skills test is required for entry into the Teacher Education program.  A score of 220 or greater is required to pass the GACE.  Students may exempt the GACE if they have a minimum combined verbal and mathematics score of 1000 on the SAT, a minimum combined English and mathematics score of 43 on the ACT, or a minimum combined verbal and quantitative score of 1030 on the GRE

GACE Content Assessments

Entry into the Apprentice Teaching program requires successful completion of the GACE Content Assessments in the discipline area (biology, chemistry, mathematics, or physics).  There are two tests in each discipline (Test I and Test II). A score of 220 or greater is required to pass each part of the GACE Content Assessment.
