Students are often interested in biology

Our program builds upon your major in biology with an educational track, leading to certification. When you successfully complete this program you will be recommended for certification to teach biology, grades 6-12. Through reciprocity with other states that Georgia teaching certification allows you to apply to teach anywhere in the nation—and most places need biology teachers.

As a SPSU biology teacher, you will learn to do the following:

Talk to someone in Teacher Education today to evaluate your transcripts to determine what you need to take to become a teacher.
