The first annual employee picnic was held in June of 1994. For many years, the President,
Vice Presidents and Deans have cooked for all other SPSU employees. Turnout has been
great. In 2001 the SPSU Employee Band entertained for the picnic bringing out record
numbers. Since then, the great Fridays at Five band has rocked the crowds. Although
we’ve had different cooks, entertainment, and locations throughout the years, the
Employee Picnic is always a great SPSU event.
