Hornets Report to Preseason with Strong New Look

Hornets report to preseason with a strong new look.  With only six returning starters coming into the 2008 preseason, a solid recruiting class will provide depth and make an immediate impact for the second year program.  With 30 players in camp, competition is fierce and non-stop.  "Many of the new players have come in fit and determined to get playing time right off the bat.  They have raised the bar because of their fitness and ability.  We will see how this translates in helping us succeed", said Coach Momeni.  "We are all excited to see how we compare to outside competition."

Players that have impressed the coaching staff are:

Returners- Eric Ati (GK), Daniel Oyugah (D), Jeff Paffenback (M), and Tristan Butcher (D)

New Players- Scott Anderson, Felipe Lopez, Sean Grisham, Rafael Romero, and Dean Butt

The Hornets start off the season by hosting TN Wesleyan on Wednesday August 27th at 6pm at Nuesoft Technologies Field.
