With a very challenging schedule that includes five teams that are mentioned in the preseason poll, SPSU will have a hard time staying in the Top 10 rankings. "We have our work cut out for us and are excited about the challenges ahead. Being honored again, by such a high ranking is great, but it doesn't mean anything. We have to win some tough games," said Hornets Head Coach, Kom Momeni. "Once again, we will have the target on our backs, and our players will have to manage the stress that comes with that." They have made it there for two straight years, and will be looking to match the success of those years. Regular Season play starts at home, at Nuesoft Technologies Field, on August 22nd.
