Student and Enrollment Services

The division of Student and Enrollment Services is one of five administrative divisions of the University and is responsible for the coordination of eight departments. These departments include; Admissions, Career and Counseling, Financial Aid, Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment, Recreational Sports and Athletics, Recruitment, Registrar and Student Records, and Student Life.
Mission Statement (Purpose)
The division of Student and Enrollment Services is an academic support unit committed to the mission and goals of Southern Polytechnic State University and exists to maintain a diverse academic community of the highest quality and supporting the effort of providing an environment that facilitates intellectual, cultural, personal and professional growth of students, faculty and staff. The divisions also exists to provide the services and tools that students and potential students need to pursue and obtain their educational goals.
The division provides opportunities for a diverse student body to develop intellectually, ethically, aesthetically, emotionally, socially, and physically. The division actively supports the University's learning outcomes and focuses on experiential learning opportunities directed at helping students master these competencies.
The division acknowledges the unique developmental progressions of each student and integrates this awareness into programs and services designed to help individuals achieve their potential and learn to function independently and interdependently within a multicultural society.
