Basketball - Women Three Reach Double Figures in Win Over Patriots
Williamsburg, KY- Junior post Marisa Stotler connected on 9-13 from the field to help pace the Lady Hornets past the University of the Cumberlands by the score of 75-66. The Hornets shot and impressive 50 percent from the field. The Hornets took a seven point lead into the lockerroom at halftime. In the second half Southern Poly pulled away to finish the game with a nine point victory. Juniors Chalescia Hanks and Crystal Davis had 15 and 11 points respectfully. Stotler also led the team in rebounds with 10 boards. The victory moves the Hornets to an overall record of 4-0. Southern Poly will be back in action Thursday November 19 at Columbia College at 6:30pm. |
