Basketball - Women Lady Hornets defeats Southern Wesleyan University and Columbia College The Lady Hornets picked up two wins on the road this weekend. SPSU defeated Southern Wesleyan by a score of 84-70. Tiffany Scales led all scorers with 21 points and Crystal Davis had a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds The Hornets then traveled to Columbia, SC for their final game in the regular season, were they defeated Columbia College 83-61. Crystal Davis recorded another double-double, scoring 22 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. Tiffany Scales had 17 points to help the Lady Hornets to victory. This win puts the Hornets to 18-12 overall, and 10-10 in conference play. Southern Polytechnic will travel to Rome, GA for the SSAC Conference Tournament, March 4-8th. |
