Basketball - Women Lee University downs Lady Hornets 81-70 The Lady Hornets were handed a lost by Lee University by a score of 81-70. The first half was all Lee going into the break leading 40-27. The second half the Lady Hornets were fighting back but fell short. The Hornets were lead by Ray Donee’ Jones with 25 points, Tiffany Scales with 16 points and Mar’Keisha Henderson with a double-double scoring 10 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. This lost drops the Hornets to 12-8 overall, and 5-6 in conference play. Southern Polytechnic will return home to face Emmanuel College this Thursday at 5:30pm |
