Basketball - Women Lady Hornets downs Emmanuel College 61-46 It was a tough offensive night for the SPSU Women’s Basketball team shooting only 31 percent from the field for the game. It was free throws that help the Lady Hornets defeat Emmanuel College by a score of 61-46. The Hornets were 28 of 35 from the line shooting an impressive 80 percent for the game. Sophomore, Crystal Davis led all scores with 14 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Chalescia Hanks had 11 points, and Akennia Ellis was a spark plug off the bench with 7 steals. The Lady Hornets host Brenau University next on January 31, 2009 . |
