Basketball - Women Lady Hornets Falls Short Against Berry College Berry College defeated the Lady Hornets by the score of 50-44. Both teams had a rough shooting night from the field, shooting less than 32 percent. Poor free throw shooting by the Lady Hornets was a huge factor in this game. The Hornets were 3-13 from the free throw line. Crystal Davis led the way with 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Tiffany Scales had 15 points. This lost drops the Hornets to 15-9 overall, and 7-7 in conference play. Southern Polytechnic will face Shorter College tomorrow in Rome, GA at 2:00pm. |
