Basketball - Women Lady Hornets Six Game Winning Streak Snapped by Brewton-Parker The Lady Hornets six game winning streak was snapped by Brewton-Parker with the score of 66-62. The Hornets went into the half with a 14 point lead, but it was all Brewton-Parker after the break. The Lady Barons force 30 turnovers and held SPSU to 25% shooting from the field in the 2nd half. The Hornets were lead by Crystal Davis with 17 points and 18 rebounds, Ray Donee’ Jones with 14 points, and Tiffany Scales with 13 points. This lost drops the Hornets to 12-7-3 overall, and 5-5 in conference play. Southern Polytechnic will face Lee University this Saturday in Cleveland, TN at 2:00pm. |
