Academic Planning and Results
Each academic unit of the institution has the responsibility to create a plan for the coming year which supports the institution’s and department’s vision and mission. At periodic intervals determine the progress toward completion or advancement of these goals. At the conclusion of the period the academic unit is required to determine how successful or what progress or even if the goal was unattainable. The unit should show how these goals have improved the operations or the completion of the goal has made some aspect of the department better.
As the next cycle approaches a continuation of goals or new goals are established for the coming year. This process should result in the continuous improvement of the institution.
