Our department has an active undergraduate research program. Students are involved
in basic research in new and unexplored areas of physics to advance not only in their
own education, but also to understand the techniques involved in physics. In the
past students got the opportunities to visit other research facilities such as NASA,
NKU, UCLA, UMT, KU, etc where they frequently integrate with experienced scientists.
This allows hands-on experience at other laboratories, and enhance opportunities in
Students who are involve in these research have presenting their work in leading national
conferences. Many have won national competitions.
