Application
Late fees will be assessed on the payment of mandatory fees and/or payment of dormitory charges. Any check which is returned unpaid, for mandatory fees and/or dormitory charges, will have late fees assessed according to the time of redemption.

Timing
Late fees will be effective on the day following the end of the official drop/add period on mandatory fee or fees. When a student is notified that a room is available in the dormitory, after the term begins, the student has three days to pay the rental charge before the late fee is applicable.

Late fees on returned checks issued for payment of mandatory fee(s), or dormitory charges, will apply after the requested date for payment of the returned check on the letter issued by the business office. This will generally be a minimum of ten calendar days. The payment of late fees does not waive the payment of returned check charges.

Amount
The amount of the late fee is thirty dollars. This amount will be assessed separately to mandatory fee(s) and dormitory rental charges.
