Linda Sun, Assistant Director of International Programs
Dr. Linda Sun holds a Master’s degree in Technical and Professional Communication from Southern Polytechnic State University and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.)degree from National Louis University in Chicago. She is actively involved in academic research and conference organization. Her area of research is cross-culture communication and international training program development. She has published articles in numerous journals and presented papers at a variety of conferences. She is now serving as managing editor for several journals: International Management Review, International Forums of Teaching and Studies, and the Journal of International Business Ethics.
Dr. Linda Sun has been associated with the Office of International Programs for the last eight years and is now serving as an Assistant Director of International Programs. While her role has heretofore mostly involved programs related to China, it is now being expanded to include the broader range of partnerships and potential partnerships. Inasmuch as she has been directly involved in the development of partnerships over the last eight years, she knows the processes well and can respond to inquiries and concerns about our partnerships and planned partnerships. She will increasingly be involved in visits by delegations to SPSU as well as planning for collaborative program development. She also is effective in dealing with visiting faculty and student issues (including housing and academics).
