SPSU promotes international goodwill with International Student
Association Show

Southern Polytechnic State University's International Student Association (ISA) presents its first annual Fall 2001Variety Show from 12 - 1:30 p.m, Thursday, October 25, 2001 in the Student Center Theater and Lobby. The variety show will feature cultural exhibits and performances from across the globe.

Among the events scheduled are an international fashion show, traditional dances from India and Colombia, traditional music from Japan and Germany, belly dancing, and various cultural presentations.

SPSU's International Student Association, established almost 15 years ago, was designed to aid and support international students with their needs and activities and foster a positive multi-cultural community at SPSU. "We had planned this first variety show in the spring, but after the events of Sept. 11, it takes on even more significance. It's a great way to promote unity amongst different nations," said Jonathan Denalsky, ISA chair. SPSU currently has a 16% enrollment of international students.
