Abstract

The effectiveness of Polish Standardization activities in cross-cultural management and training in a global economy is described in the case of Polish Committee for Standardization. Standardization activity of PKN is one of the forms of cross-cultural management and training in a global economy in economic integration. A good strategy of the National Standardization Body (NSB) and its implementation is one of main factors enabling a success in the competitiveness of national economy (Berger et al. 2004). The increasing activity of the NSB has an important impact on the national economy as a result of a good NSB strategy. The basis of a good PKN strategy development and implementation is the exchange of experience between NSB’s.
