Text Book Algebra and Trigonometry, 8th edition, by Michael Sullivan; Prentice Hall, 2008.
Chapters: 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12.
Calculator TI-89 calculator is required. Read How to use TI-89 in Math 1113
Prerequisite:       A grade of "C" or higher in MATH 1111 or placement by the Mathematics Assessment Test
Description: Rational and transcendental functions and graphs. Triangle and analytic trigonometry including identities, equations, and applications. Law of Sines, Law of Cosines, applications of trigonometry to vectors and complex numbers. Systems of equations using matrices. A grade of "C" or better is required for course credit.
