Current students, faculty and staff of SPSU may check-out laptops for use in L.V. Johnson Library. Laptops may be checked out for three (3) hours at a time from the circulation desk. A photo ID is required.

You are welcome to bring your own laptop to the library. In order to access Hornet Wireless you will first need to configure your laptop. Follow these instructions for additional help.

Non SPSU Users

Non-SPSU users have access to two (2) guest computers. There is a two (2) hour time limit for each session. Guests will be asked to sign in and out using the Guestlog at the reference desk. During periods of heavy activity guests may be asked to give-up computers for other guests or members of the SPSU community.

Printing & Copying

Printing is available from all library computers except the scanning stations at a cost of $0.10 per page. Printing may be paid for only with Hornet Bucks. A Hornet Bucks account is a pre-deposited account used to pay for goods and services at SPSU. SPSU students use their SPSU ID cards to add value to their Hornet Bucks account. Georgia Highlands students and visitors must purchase a Visitor Card, then add value to their accounts. Visitor Cards cost $1.00, and this charge is non-refundable. Visitor Cards may be purchased and value deposited to SPSU IDs and Visitor Cards at a Value Transfer Station located in the reference area. The card dispenser accepts only $1, $5, or $10 bills.

Refunds for SPSU students are made only in the Business Office. No refunds will be made to non-SPSU students.

Photocopy machines are located on the first and second floor of the library. Copiers accept cash, SPSU IDs and Visitor Cards. Copies cost $0.10 per page.
