The Southern Polytechnic State University Office of Legal Affairs is responsible for providing support and legal advice to the University administration, faculty, staff, and student leaders while they are acting on SPSU's behalf.
In its support of the mission of SPSU, the Office of Legal Affairs provides recommendations and legal advice in a variety of areas related to the goals and programs of SPSU. As such, the office is responsible for interpreting state and federal law, formulating and issuing legal opinions, reviewing and drafting legal documents such as contracts, and assisting with the formulation and implementation of policies and procedures.
