Strategic Goal #1: Create a Positive Environment at SPSU.
Objective 2.1:   Achieve a campus wide environment of treating individuals (students, faculty, staff and business colleagues) with respect, fairness and dignity.  In all things treating others as we would have them treat us as individuals and as a campus as a whole.
Strategies/Action Plans:  Plan and deliver a campus wide kick-off to promote the “Golden Rule” attitude throughout the SPSU family. Establish a “Golden Rule” committee to include members from faculty, staff, students, alumni and the business community no later than _______________. Set date for campus kick-off and establish sponsors and/or theme. Promote the campaign via email, flyer and word of mouth in stages…. Provide (through purchase, donation or sponsorship) every staff, student, faculty and business associates with a token give that promotes the “Golden Rule” attitude Decide on appropriate token gift and order. Committee should establish distribution and requirements to receive the “token” gift. Establish resources to promote and educate the campus at large in acceptable and expected “Golden Rule” behaviors.  Develop library of resources for campus to use for promoting the “Golden Rule” concept, practices and
