Cert Soft Engineering: 2007 - 2008
The
graduate certificate in Software Engineering is a subset of the M.S.
degree in Software Engineering. It consists of the following
courses:
- SWE 6623--Software Engineering I
- SWE 6633--Software Project Management
- SWE 6723--Software Engineeing II
- Three additional courses drawn from the folling:
- CS 6153--Advanced Database Systems
- CS 6323--Human Factors
- CS 6353--Computer Graphics and Multimedia
- IT 6643--Issues in Information Management
- SWE 6343--User Interface Design and Implementation
- SWE 6743--Object-Oriented Analysis and Design
- SWE 6763--Software Metrics and Quality Management
- SWE 6883--Formal Methods in Software Engineering
Only a small number of students are enrolled in the certificate
program. Since evaluating these courses on the basis of this
small number would give unrepresentative results, each of the courses
and their outcomes is assessed as part of the M.S. degree in Software
