The
certificate in Computer Programming is a subset of the B.S. degree in
Computer Science. It consists of the following courses:
- CSE 1301--Programming and Problem Solving I
- CSE 1302--Programming and Problem Solving II
- CS 3153--Database Systems
- IT 3203--Introduction to Web Development
- One additional course drawn from the folling:
- SWE 2313--Introduction to Software Engineering
- CS 3424--Data Structures
- IT 4203--Advanced Web Development
Only a small number of students are enrolled in the certificate
program. Since evaluating these courses on the basis of this
small number would give unrepresentative results, each of the courses
and their outcomes is assessed as part of the B.S. degree in Computer
Science. Use of results for the B.S. in Computer
Science
may be found here.
