Use of Results Report
ATT - BS Apparel and Textiles, Fashion Design and Product Development: 2007-2008
1. The following Program Outcomes were met or exceeded in the spring semester.
- Demonstrate a conceptual knowledge of the fashion/apparel industry.
- Communicate effectively in written and presentation skills.
- Identify, critique and evaluate emerging technologies and concepts applicable to their chosen field.
- Demonstrate sound business principles and practices of the fashion/apparel industry.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform effectively in team environment.
- Recognize the need for life long learning.
2. The following Program Outcomes were not met.
1. Demonstrate an ability to plan, execute and critique their concepts and ideas.
2. Neither of the courses used as course linkages were taught in the spring semester to make an assessment.
3. These results are reviewed by our Assessment Committee which meets at the end of each semester as a part of the overall assessment process. The performance criteria portion was discussed at the spring semester meeting, may 15th but the actual students scores were not available until late May, hence they will be reviewed at the August, 2008 meeting.
4. Dates of Meetings: Please list below the dates of meetings at which the use of assessment results was discussed and also briefly summarize the discussions and decisions.
May 15, 2008 Assessment Meeting.
Each course coordinator critiqued their course which included reviewing the criteria as well as criteria itself.
August, 2008 Assessment Meeting. Scheduled the of week August 11th.
