Hornet Wireless Configuration Procedure for Apple Mac OS 10.3+

note: the Mac OS setup varies from version to version. This is one representative example. Please refer to your Apple's documentation for more details.

Open ‘Internet Connect’ and select ‘802.1x’

Click the ‘Configuration’ dropdown list.

Select ‘Edit Configurations…’

 

 



Click the ‘+’ to add a new configuration.

Use the following values:

‘Description: Hornet’

‘Network Port: AirPort’

‘User Name: SPSUNetworkID’

‘Password: YourPassword’

‘Wireless Network: hornet’

‘Authentication: TTLS’

NOTE:  you must un-check all the other protocols in the list.  In other words,

only TTLS should be checked; you will not be able to connect otherwise!

Click ‘Configure…’

 




Use the following values:

‘TTLS Inner Authentication: PAP’

‘Outer Identity: anonymous’

 

Click ‘Ok’

Click ‘Ok’



 

You should now be able to chose ‘Airport’ and select the network ‘hornet’ and sign on.
