Getting Started with Hornet Wireless
Accessing the SPSU Hornet Wireless system requires 3 things:
- An 802.11 B/G wireless enabled laptop
- A supported Operating System
- TTLS security capabilities
802.11 B/G Wireless:
If you purchased your laptop recently, then chances are that your system has a built-in wireless Ethernet adapter. If your laptop does not have built-in wireless then you will need to purchase an external card. External cards come in two main varieties, USB and PCMCIA. Talk to your laptop vendor or a local computer store for options that will work best for you.
Supported Operating Systems:
The following Operating systems are known to function with the SPSU Hornet Wireless System:
