Initiating Hornet Connect Network Connect Service
1) Open your web browser and enter the web address: http://connect.spsu.edu
2) Enter your SPSU Network ID and password. (This is the first part of your SPSU email address, basically everything before the @spsu.edu)

3) When the Information Bar in Internet Explorer pops up, click on the bar and select "Install ActiveX Control".

4) Selct Install when prompted to install the Juniper Networks software.

5) Wait while the Host Checker components load. If you recieve an error message, try deleting your browser cache, and try again. If you continue to have problems, try a different web broswer. If problems persist, contact the DoIT Helpdesk at 678-915-4357

6) Click on "Client Apps" in the top right corner of the Hornet Connect Page.

7) Click the button labeled "Start", located on the same line as Network Connect.

8 Wait for Network Connect to initiate.

A network connect icon will appear in your system tray (located in the bottom right corner of your screen.) If you click on the network connect icon, a small window will open that indicates that Network Connect is initiated. You also use this window to disconnect.
Your machine is now connected through network connect. Your computer will be able to access the same network resources that you can access while physically located on campus and connected to the campus network. You can map a network drive in order to connect to the servers you typically access on campus.

When you are ready to sign out of Network Connect, simply click “Sign Out” on the Network Connect session status window.
