"" Computer Facilities

The English, Technical Communication, and Media Arts (ETCMA) Department maintains a graphics lab in Room J-212. The Lab is available to students taking courses offered by the ETCMA department who need to access the specialized software in the Lab to complete an assignment for an ETCMA class. The computers in J-212 are equipped with scanners, CD burners, and zip drives. Software includes current versions of the following:

  • Acrobat
  • PageMaker
  • InDesign
  • FrameMaker
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • RoboHelp
  • FrontPage
  • Dreamweaver


"" Composition Program

ENGL 1101 and ENGL 1102 make up the First-Year Composition Program at SPSU. The program is designed to equip students with the reading, writing, and thinking skills they'll need in college and in their future careers.

The ATTIC is a student-centered, service-directed organization which provides the following services to students:

Academic advising for General/Undeclared Major students
Academic advising for Joint Enrollment students
Testing Services (CPE, MAT, Regents')
