You must complete and
submit a formal petition for "Admission to Candidacy for a Degree" to the
regitrar by the fourth week of the semester preceding the final semester.
Once you believe that all the
following requirements will be met, you may petition:
- Met all course requirements for the
degree.
- Have a cumulative scholastic average of
at least 2.00 (undergraduate degree programs)
- Have a cumulative scholastic average of
at least 3.00 (graduate degree programs)
- Have earned recommendation for the
degree by the faculty and President of Southern Polytechnic State
University

Records office will do final certification and mail a copy
to the student. |
