Bachelor of Arts in English and Professional Communication (BAEPC)

The B.A. in English and Professional Communication is not your average English degree. With concentrations in Professional Writing and Media, Communication, and Culture, the BAEPC degree helps students develop the strong communication, design, and critical thinking skills needed for a variety of careers that include corporate communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, media, and entertainment. Here's a degree option for creative students who want to help shape today's media landscape through word, image, and sound.

¹Any extra hour earned as a result of the math and science elective can be used for free electives.

²Students may take STS 4000 or STS 4400 but not both for BA/BS electives.

³Students must make a grade of at least a C in all COMM, ENGL, and TCOM major courses. BSTC or BAEPC candidates who make Ds or Fs in any of the required foundation courses, concentration courses, or electives in major cannot count those D or F courses toward graduation.
