As an IDC student, you're eligible for free membership in T-COMmons, an association of SPSU professors, students, alumni, and industry friends in technical communication. As a member, you'll receive invitations to private T-COMmons events and have access to the online T-COMmons job board.
You're also encouraged to join the Society for Technical Communication, the premier professional association for technical communicators and information designers. STC offers a discounted student membership, which includes access to online publications, membership in the Atlanta Chapter of STC, and membership in up to three special interest groups (SIGs). Training Resources
During Fall and Spring semesters the Information Technology Division offers a variety of workshops to SPSU students free of charge. Please contact the IT Lab Manager for more information about training workshops.
