Thesis Delivery
Before you begin, you must have approval of your individual thesis chapters from both your thesis advisor and your second reader before you can begin this procedure.
- Rule: You must complete this procedure by the fourteenth week of the semester in which you plan to graduate.
Delivery Procedure
To deliver your master's thesis:
- Give your thesis advisor five copies of the final version of your thesis.
- Rule: The copies must be on acid-free paper.
- Note: If you do not want a bound copy of your thesis for yourself, you may give your thesis advisor four copies.
- Result: Your thesis advisor and your second reader will evaluate the final copies of your thesis.
- Do your thesis advisor and second reader approve the final version of your thesis?
- If yes, ask the following people to sign the copies of your thesis (in the order listed):
- Your thesis advisor
- The Chair of the ETCMA department
- The dean of the School of Arts and Sciences
- If no, revise your thesis according to their suggestions. Return to step 1.
- If yes, ask the following people to sign the copies of your thesis (in the order listed):
- Ask the head of the Library to call your thesis advisor and tell him or her that you have delivered your thesis.
- Result: Your thesis advisor will inform the ETCMA Department that you have satisfied your thesis requirements.
