The logos shown at left, by two students in Dr. Oliver's TCOM 4050-Advanced Graphics/IDC 6040-Applied Graphics courses, have been selected as finalists in the Eastern Communication Association's (ECA's) 100th Anniversary Logo Contest. Their designs will be on display at the 2007 ECA Convention in Providence, Rhode Island, where members will vote to select a winning logo. This logo will be included in publications, on the Web site, and in promotional materials for the 2009 ECA Convention as it celebrates its 100th anniversary. The designer with the winning logo will receive $200 and free registration to the ECA 100th Anniversary Convention in 2009.
