Jon K. Lindsay received a B.A. in English from the University of Maryland, an M.A. in English from St. Mary's University, and a M.S. in Technical and Professional Communication from Southern Polytechnic State University. Since 1992, Professor Lindsay has taught at several local Marietta/Atlanta colleges and universities. He has taught English Composition, American Literature, World Literature, African-American Literature, and Speech. He regularly serves as a grader of Regents' essays.  He has also been as a tutor for the ATTIC at SPSU.  Currently he is the SPSU Academic Advisor for undeclared majors and Joint Enrollment students, and he is the SPSU Testing Coordinator .Professor Lindsay served 22 years in the United States Air Force and retired in 1992 as lieutenant colonel.  He also worked at Stover and Associates as a consultant and technical writer. His spouse, Cindy, teaches Behavior Disorder children in the Cobb County School System.  His daughter graduated from North Georgia College and State University; he currently has one son at Georgia State University and one son at Berry College.
