Keith Hopper is the instructional technology-design specialist for the Information Design and Communication graduate programs, and also teaches in the Technical Communication undergraduate program. He taught ten years at the university level in health professions before earning a Ph.D. in instructional technology at Georgia State University, and is now an associate professor at SPSU. He has seven years commercial instructional software development experience (MedSoft Rainier). His scholarship interests are related to technology integration in higher education. Dr. Hopper's professional interests include performance technology, project management, and instructional systems design.
Dr. Hopper is active in technology integration for the professional field of Respiratory Care, publishing extensively on the topic and delivering numerous national presentations. He also publishes extensively in mainstream instructional technology journals.
