| The "Electronic Gallery," created with a $20,600 Connecting Teachers and Technology Grant from the University System of Georgia, is an electronic resource room for the study of fine art. Housed in the Southern Polytechnic State Library, the "Electronic Gallery" consists of two VCR/monitors for viewing videocassettes, one laserdisk player for viewing laserdisks, three computer workstations for researching the Internet and viewing CD-Roms, and a networked printer. The electronic collection consists of over 100 titles (videocassettes, laserdisks, and CD-Roms) supporting the study of fine art and culture. Additional grants for $1500 and $2500 from the SPSU Foundation have enlarged the gallery to include both an International collection and an Asian collection of electronic titles. |
