The computer writing classroom is located in J-214.  It contains 25 Gateway PS-166 workstations networked through the Daedalus Integrated Writing Environment (DIWE) and connected to the Internet.

Through DIWE, students and their instructors can

  • view class assignments,

  • word process documents,

  • make bibliographies,

  • practice generating ideas for essays,

  • respond to student writing

  • send each other email, and

  • communicate online in real time.
