ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF MATHEMATICS (Mathematics) 09-395
POSITION SUMMARY
The Mathematics Department at Southern Polytechnic State University invites applications for one or more positions at the rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track, higher ranks considered) to begin August 2010. SPSU (www.spsu.edu) is a member institution in the University System of Georgia, located 20 minutes northwest of downtown Atlanta, in the historic city of Marietta.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field. Responsibilities include 12 hours of teaching per semester, professional development, scholarly activity, and service. Applicants from all areas of mathematics are invited to apply. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience
