POSITION SUMMARY

The Information Technology department at Southern Polytechnic State University, Marietta, Georgia invites applications for one full-time lecturer position, starting August 1, 2008. Other ranks will be considered.  SPSU is a member institution in the University System of Georgia, located 20 minutes northwest of downtown Atlanta, in the historic city of Marietta. 

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should hold a Master Degree or PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, or in a closely related field, and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and professional service. The Lecturer will teach 15 credit hours per semester of undergraduate courses in Information Technology, engage in service activities, and advise students. The position is a 9-month, renewable appointment, and the salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

SALARY: Commensurate with experience
