LECTURER (English, Technical Communication and Media Arts) 08-245

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY                                                                                                                              

The English, Technical Communication, and Media Arts Department at Southern Polytechnic State University invites applications for a Lecturer position in English, with a primary emphasis in freshmen and sophomore level general education courses.  SPSU (www.spsu.edu) is a member institution in the University System of Georgia, located 20 minutes northwest of downtown Atlanta, in the historic city of Marietta.

 

 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must have a Master’s in English. Responsibilities include teaching 15 credit hours each semester of composition and sophomore-level literature surveys. The Lecturer position is a renewable, non-tenure track position. An interest in writing for new media and/or humanities computing is desirable.

 

 

SALARY:       Commensurate with experience
