POSITION SUMMARY
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology at Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta Georgia invites applications and nominations for a tenure track Assistant Professor position (other ranks considered) beginning August 2008. The ECET Department offers TAC/ABET accredited BS degrees in Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, and Telecommunication Engineering Technology. A Master of Science degree in Engineering Technology with an Electrical Concentration is also offered.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates with an earned doctorate in Electrical Engineering and expertise in any area within the discipline will be considered. An M.S. in electrical or computer engineering or engineering technology and relevant industrial experience will also be considered. Candidates will be evaluated based on education, industrial experience, professional registration, diversity of background, teaching experience, ability to communicate, and record of scholarly activities. Rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
SALARY: Commensurate with experience
