The campus bookstore is operated by Barnes & Nobles. The bookstore is your number
one stop for your textbooks. Textbooks are offered as new, used, ebooks, and rentals.
The campus bookstore will also price match other bookstores. Please note that this
does not include online stores.
The vending machines for Southern Polytechnic State University are operated by Southern Refreshments.
If you experience equipment malfunction, you can request a refund at the information desk, located on the first floor of the Student Center. You must present your HornetCard or a valid ID and the machine number. Credit card refunds are available by contacting the card issuer.

The University utilizes a Pharos printing system on campus. This is a pay for print service which allows students to print from lab computers. To print or copy documents you must use HornetBucks in all general purpose labs.
The Hornet Visitor Card is available for visitors on campus for $1.00 and can be obtained at the VTS (Value Transfer Station), located in the Lawrence V. Johnson Library. The Visitor Card is not an official Southern Polytechnic State University identification card, and possession does not guarantee access to Southern Polytechnic State University facilities or student services. This card can be used at all printing stations that accept HornetBucks, based on the availability of sufficient funds on your Hornet Visitor Card. SPSU is not responsible for any loss of funds due to theft, abuse, or loss of this card.
A $1.00 convenience fee will be added to all HornetBuck deposits.
