Honors ApplicationThank you for your interest in enrolling in The University Honors Program at Southern Polytechnic State University. A PDF version of the admissions application is available below. Please take the following steps to ensure that your application is complete: 1. Submit your admissions application to Southern Polytechnic State University before you submit your Honors application. SPSU will send you a student ID number with your acceptance material. Include it on your application. 2. Completely and accurately fill out the application form. The application will be used for admission and scholarship purposes. Applications to be considered for scholarship are due by February 16, 2009. Early application to the program will also help us ensure Honors on-campus housing. We will take applications from all students through April 27, 2009. The Honors Program will only consider applications after this deadline for individuals who meet guaranteed admission criteria. False statements or omission of pertinent information will be considered cause for denial or retraction of admission into the Honors Program. 3. Mail your Honors application to Dr. Nancy Reichert, Director Upon receipt of your application, we will send you confirmation that we have received your application. We will send letters of acceptance within the month in most cases. Applicants will be guaranteed admission to the Honors Program if they meet any of the following criteria:

Students who do not strictly meet these guidelines, but who have other achievements that show promise of academic excellence are encouraged to apply. We may call for references.
