Welcome to Southern Polytechnic State University's Honors Program. The SPSU Honors Program provides academically talented students the opportunity to develop their talents and skills in an expanded and enriched curriculum. It features seminar-size classes that demand intellectual rigor.
Important Dates and Events for August
- August 16, Students move into the dorms.
- August 17, Students move into the apartments
- August 18, First day of class
- August 21, FEE Payment and last day to drop and add.
- August 21, 3 - 4:30 p.m., Honors Welcome Party, Sycamore Grove in front of Honors Office. Students running for SHC Office should announce their candidacy if they haven't done so already.
- August 27, 2 - 2:50 p.m. First Option for Student Honors Meeting, (Location to be announced.)
- August 28, 12 - 12:50 p.m. Second Option for Student Honors Meeting (Location to be announced.)

Honors Office Hours for the Fall
Monday - Wednesday: 730 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Dr. Reichert's Hours for theFall
Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8 - 8:45 a.m.
Monday and Friday: 10 - noon
Tuesday: By appointment only
Thursday: 10:30 - noon and 1 - 2:30 p.m.
