Advising for Spring 2010

Please select a date and time for advising for the Spring 2010 semester. Make sure you meet with your advisor or a professor from your major field before meeting with me. Download the schedule form, fill it in, and get it signed before seeing me.

For those of you creating a telephone conference, please get the advisor’s approval via email and send it my way next Tuesday. Send your list of completed Honors coursework as well. Don’t send it too early—it may just get lost in my inbox J

There are over 180 students from whom I need to see or hear so please come as prepared as possible. If not, I may need to turn you away.

Honors Research Classes. Please contact the professor with whom you’re interested in working and get his/her approval. I need an email from the professor asking me to enroll you in the class. E-mail me at least two choices for date and time. Doing so will help ensure a time slot is open. If you can't make any of the available dates and times, give me a call so that we can ascertain what will work for you. We will meet in my office D103. Telephone conferences also need dates and times.

For the first time I will need to advise by class. Friday and Monday are relegated to Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. Freshmen, please sign up for Tuesday, October 27 or later.

Dates and Times for Advising Appointments: Please note that I will be out of town for the National Collegiate Honors Council Conference on Thursday, October 29 and Friday, October 30.
