SPSU participates the NAIA Conference in men's and women's basketball, men's tennis, and
men's baseball. We also offer intramural sports and recreational activities to members of
the Southern Polytechnic community. Athletics and recreational sports are housed in our
Recreation and Wellness Center, a state-of-the-art facility with a weight room; multipurpose
gym with basketball, volleyball and badminton courts, and a walking/jogging track; a locker
room; an indoor pool; and an aerobics room. Campus Health Services, also located in the
Recreation Center, serves the SPSU community with outpatient care for minor illnesses.
